The editor

The editor opens one manuscript at a time. Its binder contains that manuscript's chapters or other project-specific document units.

Binder

• Select a chapter to open it.
• Use + for a blank chapter.
• Use the import button to add chapters from Word, Markdown, or plain text.
• Right-click a chapter to rename, reorder, change status, or remove it.

Focus and comfort

Focus mode hides the binder and intelligence panel. Typewriter scrolling keeps the active line at a comfortable position while you type. The theme button in the left sidebar switches instantly between Parchment, Light, and Dark.

Typeface, text size, line spacing, and paragraph spacing affect only your writing view. Export typography is configured separately in the export dialog.

Offline and collaboration

Text is written to the local collaborative document first. You can keep writing offline, and concurrent changes merge when the connection returns. Sync and AI work never run on the keystroke path.
