Appearance
Writing experience
Settings → Writing experience changes how Enspeller looks and feels on the current device. These controls do not alter manuscript content.
Interface language
Choose the language for application controls and guidance. The change takes effect immediately and remains on this device.
Studio appearance
Choose Parchment, Light, or Dark. The theme control in the left rail provides the same quick choice without leaving the manuscript.
The theme changes the application canvas only. It does not affect export files.
Manuscript typography
Choose the editor typeface, text size, line spacing, and paragraph spacing. These preferences apply to every chapter you open on this device and are useful for readability during long writing sessions.
They are separate from manuscript structure:
- headings, lists, block quotes, and emphasis belong to the manuscript;
- typeface, text size, and viewing spacing belong to your current device; and
- Word export typography belongs to the export dialog.
Focus and input
- Open chapters in focus mode hides the binder and inspector when the manuscript opens.
- Typewriter scrolling keeps the active line near a comfortable vertical position while typing in focus mode.
- Browser spellcheck uses the browser or desktop application's spellchecker in addition to Enspeller's Formatter.
Reset defaults
Select Reset defaults to restore the writing-experience controls on the current device. Project Critic and Formatter settings are not reset.
