Export runs locally from the latest hydrated manuscript chapters.

Standard manuscript .docx

This format includes a title page, contact information, word count, running author/title/page headers, chapter page breaks, paragraph indents, and scene break markers.

The submission defaults are 12 pt Courier New, double spacing, and one-inch margins. Open Export typography to choose Courier New, Times New Roman, or Arial; 11 or 12 pt type; 1.5 or double line spacing; and # or * * * scene breaks. One-inch margins remain fixed to protect submission-ready layout.

Review copy .docx

Use a Review copy when the Word file is likely to return to Enspeller. It keeps semantic headings, scene markers, lists, hard breaks, and emphasis so reimport can reconstruct the structure cleanly.

Markdown and plain text

Markdown retains headings, emphasis, lists, block quotes, and scene breaks. Plain text removes presentation syntax while retaining chapter and scene boundaries.
